Accessibility
Scout Recon should work for every visitor, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Here is the standard we build to and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
We design and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA: readable color contrast, keyboard navigation, visible focus states, labeled controls, descriptive alt text, a logical heading structure, and respect for reduced-motion settings. We do this in the code itself. We do not use an accessibility overlay or widget, because those do not make a product usable for the people who need it.
Accessibility is ongoing work. We review the site and the product interface against these guidelines as we build. Where something does not yet meet the standard, we treat it as a fix, not an exception.
If a page or feature is difficult to use, tell us and we will help you get what you need and work on a fix. Email [email protected] with the page and what happened, and we will get back to you.
