Who we are

Scout Recon is a marketing-attribution product for law firms, and a product of Scout Media & Consulting ("Scout," "we," "us"), a small team of senior specialists in Fuquay-Varina, NC. When we say "the site," we mean scoutrecon.app.

Using this website

By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, that is fine. You are free to leave, no hard feelings.

This site is provided "as is." We do our best to keep everything accurate and up to date. If you spot an error, let us know and we will fix it.

Our content

Everything on this site (text, design, images, code, product screens, blog posts) is owned by Scout Media & Consulting unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to read and share our blog posts with credit and a link back, and to quote short excerpts for commentary. Please do not copy our design or content as your own, scrape the site, or reproduce our work without permission. If you want to use something, just ask at [email protected].

Requesting a demo

When you request a demo or email us, you are starting a conversation. Submitting the form does not create a contract or a customer relationship. Those happen later, in writing, if we both decide to move forward.

Product use and client agreements

If your firm uses Scout Recon, that use is governed by a separate agreement specific to your engagement, including how your data is handled. These website terms do not govern product use. The product agreement does. For how we protect data, see our security page and privacy policy.

Links to other sites

This site may link to third-party websites and tools. We link to them because we find them useful, not because we endorse everything they do. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or reliability.

Limitation of liability

Our blog posts, guides, and content are for general information, based on our real experience, and are not a substitute for professional advice specific to your situation. We are not liable for decisions you make based on content you read on this site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute will be handled in Wake County, NC.
